I designed a larger version reindeer many years ago, and came up with these guys as part of a crochet contest hosted on Instagram called #amigurumishowcase . The winners of the contest released their patterns for free, while I did not win - I am sharing my pattern for these guys to help spread some love and cheer for the holidays! :)
I would love to see what you make if you do use the pattern - DM or tag me on instagram /twitter @aeishicrochet !

I had a friend request that I make some wine toppers for her, so these were created~!
They are small projects that make a cute touch to wine bottles, or other places you may decide to place them. I welcome creativity! :) As such, I wanted to give the pattern for free for others to enjoy. Doing a quick internet search, there are only knitted pumpkin wine toppers.. so here is the crocheted one! It's been 3 years since I've released my pattern into the world, and a few people have tackled it. I decided to revamp the pattern with more detailed assembly photos - this hopefully helps with any confusion that arose from the previous version. I tried to make it more beginner friendly.
I have also rebranded myself from "Saekoi Shop" to Aeishi Crochet. I have made this uniform across all of my platforms, sorry for the name change but I felt it better represented me and my creations! I added this pattern to Ravelry. There is a PDF file to download at the bottom, as well as a link to my google document version of it. Let's get onto the pattern~ [ October 13, 2020 -- EDIT: ] I posted an updated version of this pattern here on my blog, so check it out! Hopefully it will clear up any confusion or questions that people have had, I also plan to post it on Ravelry :)
I came up with this pattern to share because I was asked by Vanessa for a pattern. It's a simplified version of the first ghost I originally made for my fiance. I aim to make a more authentic ghost one day and make it look closer to the actual ones but I'm happy with this version for now, the shapes of them are a bit complex so I simplified the design to get a basic form. Feel free to share your work with me, I'd love to see what you come up with and Happy Crocheting!! :) If you have any questions while making it, feel free to ask me! It's SUPER cold here~ I like the cold and winter, though it's much better when you have someone to cuddle with to keep warm!
Anyways, I wanted to share my completed secret project - The giant yoshi amigurumi! This is my first blog post on this site pertaining to my work. I've written others in the past, but it's nice to start fresh and have a place to share what I'm working on with others!
Anyway, I am currently working on a "Giant Yoshi Amigurumi" for my boyfriend. I have been keeping it a secret as best I can, and not even saying a peep online about it. I want to share my progress though, and develop my blog to show some of my processes with others (maybe even inspire someone to make something they imagined)! |
