Hello! My name is Ashley.
I have been crocheting since I was 15 years old. I began when my great grandmother taught me how to make a basic chain and use double crochet stitches to create a scarf. I put down my hooks for a year or two and when I picked them up again I was determined to make amigurumi. I taught myself new stitches and began by using an amigurumi pattern book. There wasn't as much help online as there is today, so I sought help in forums to figure things out if I had trouble. After completing my first amigurumi I was completely addicted to crocheting. I could only crochet things from patterns, but as time went on and I became experienced I now do not have to rely solely on patterns. With 15 years of crochet experience I feel like I can make almost anything if I can dream it!
I finally obtained my bachelor's degree May 2020, so I have dedicated more time to my crochet work. I plan on crocheting as much as I can do so until I further my career <3
I currently live with my hubby (Ed) and my three cats; Valentina, Gladiolus and Iris. They support my crochet work, the cats oftentimes take over my lap or are my crochet supervisors.
If you would like to know more about me, or have any crochet questions feel free to ask me!
Hobbies and interests:
